Winter Practice for South African Students
at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research
Dubna, Russia, December 9 – December 19, 2007
Dear Participants from South Africa,
JINR's University Centre welcomes you to attend the 2007 Winter Practice!
The Practice is a traditional form of attracting talented students and young scientists to JINR. The International Student Practices have been organized by the University Centre (UC) during summer holidays since 2004 and received a good reputation among students of JINR Member States – in particular, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Romania.
The aim of the Practice is to give its participants an idea of JINR fields of research and offer them a possibility to meet JINR research teams. This aim is achieved through students working on research projects at JINR facilities and attending lecture courses delivered during the Practice by leading JINR scientists.
Now, the UC is glad to offer its educational programs and experience to its South African partners. We hope your visit to Dubna not only will boost or help you choose your scientific career, but will also leave good memories of the Russian winter and cultural heritage.
Please take a minute to study some information about the Practices and the UC at this site, and fill in the Registration Form. If you have any questions and suggestions, do not hesitate to contact us.
