Marratech Installation
Install and run Marratech. To attend a lecture, do the following steps.
Step 1.
In the program browser's address line, enter the following link: http://marratech.jinr.ru
Step 2.
In the "user name" and "password" fields, enter conf5 и conf5
The buttons of toggling between the browser and White Board are in the bottom left corner of the program's window.
Step 3.
Click the VIP (Virtual Institute of Physics) Conference Hall.
The conf5 username allows you to listen to the lecture, ask questions to the lecturer, and record the lecture on the built-in recorder. To ask a question, connect a microphone by pressing simultaneously the microphone icon in the program's bottom right corner and the Ctrl button on the keyboard.
To be able to edit messages on the White Board (see instructions below), you have to get a higher level login and password, for which you have to e-mail Prof. Stanislav Pakuliak.

The Marratech system brings together a multi-user videoconference system (potentially able to be extended to a videoconference medium) and a multi-functional white board, which is a potentially infinite pile of interactive lists; each of them potentially expands rightwards and downwards (one can make sure that it is so by entering information exceeding a list).
The text is entered now by an editor allowing joint editing by any participants of the conference.

Other ways of entering graphic information consist in doing Ctrl-V after filling the graphic exchange buffer somehow. For example, after pressing the PrtSc button, a screen copy can be imported in the list.

The whole pile makes up a so-called WB document (WB = white board). By default, opening a WB document file runs Marratech offline.
Marratech allows all the participants to speak together and – using the Private option – to talk in pairs. In the latter case, the microphone becomes a telephone.
